A Virtual Tour of the Beaverkill Valley Inn
We just got new photos taken of the Inn (thanks to photographer Liz Clayman!).
Join us for a virtual tour, why don’t you?
The front porch
Let’s start on the Inn’s front porch. Our historic Victorian Inn, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has a wheelchair-accessible wraparound porch full of comfy furniture and hanging plants. It’s the perfect spot for coffee, a cocktail, or reading a book. The Beaverkill River is just steps away, and you can hear it as you enjoy the view.
the Rooms
The Inn has nineteen comfortably appointed guest rooms.
Fourteen rooms have their own private en-suite bathrooms.
Five rooms on the Inn’s third floor have their own seperate private bathroom adjacent to the room, each with an antique clawfoot tub and vintage ceramic tile. This is a unique throwback to the Inn’s days as a historic boardinghouse for fly fishermen in the late 19th century.
The Inn has a wheelchair accessible room on the Inn's first floor. Rates can be found on our Rooms and Rates page.
the grounds
The Inn’s team works hard to keep its acres of beautiful grounds in stunning shape year round. In the spring, summer, and fall, they’re bursting with seasonal color, and our gardens are full of vegetables. You can enjoy a game of croquet or take a spin at the casting pond. In the winter, we erect a skating rink for our guests and members to enjoy.
the deck
The deck is the site for warm weather dining and cocktail parties. You get an expansive view of the grounds, with an awning for shade when needed. Aperol spritz, anyone?
the river and fly fishing
The Inn is renowned for its fly fishing. You can rent equipment from us, borrow waders, try our casting pond if you’re a beginner, and even book a lesson on our mile of private river with our fishing pro.
the amenities
The amenities are almost too many to list: indoor pool with glass roof, full basketball court, full tennis court, gym, billiards room, hiking trails, skating in the winter, ping pong table, foosball table, fitness room, playroom for kids in the barn, fire pit at night - there’s so much to do and so little time!
the food
Don’t forget our food and beverage menu! Our Chef Tommy Finch has created an inventive menu filled with local produce, meat, fish, and fare. Specials change weekly, while the regular lunch, dinner, and brunch menus have something for everyone. General Manager Kaitlyn Finch has crafted an excited cocktail menu and wine list, and we also serve craft beers from many of your favorite local breweries.
